We’re two sisters with a shared love for thrifting and a mission to help plus-size people like us find affordable, wearable, and truly special pieces that still have plenty of life left in them. Every item we source is something we’d happily wear ourselves (and often wish we could keep).

What we love most isn’t just the clothes it’s the people. From connecting with our customers to giving you a real, behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a thrift business, we’re all about keeping things authentic.

Meet Daizy
Daizy, our director and co-founder, is the definition of busy, juggling a full-time job while wrapping up her PhD. When she does get a break, you’ll likely find her at an op shop (sometimes as a date activity, which says a lot about priorities). She has a bold love for colour and is currently obsessed with textures.

At Simply Thrift, Daizy wears many hats: accounts, admin, and social media, basically everything except teleporting new stock straight to your wardrobe (she’s working on it).

Meet Valaraka
Valaraka co-founded Simply Thrift with Daizy and works on the business alongside her roles as a legal secretary and retailer. She has a taste for quality, with favourite spots like Kowtow and Bed Bath & Beyond, and a soft spot for materials that feel substantial and well-made.

Valaraka is the mastermind behind shipping and keeps everything organised when it comes to consignments and donations, making sure every piece finds its way to the right home.

Our Promise
Together, we take our time sourcing pieces for our customers, we believe good thrifting shouldn’t be rushed. We aim to stay consistent with new drops too… we’re still perfecting that part (just ask our regulars 😉).
